About the Author
Colin Dexter’s novels featuring Inspector Morse were adapted for television with great success. A former national crossword champion, he has been awarded many honours, including crime fiction’s Diamond Dagger, an OBE, a fellowship at St Cross College, Oxford and the freedom of the city of Oxford, where he has lived for almost 40 years.
